Reciprocal links to PixelMarathon

Posted in General by Editor on the January 24th, 2006

I have noticed that some pixel site owners claim that they will provide a reciprocal link, but when I check for a link I do not see one. Maybe someone forgets to add it, maybe someone wasn’t intending to add it at all.

Also I cannot accept a link as a reciprocal in case if it’s located on a page which is not accessible neither to search engines nor visitors.

I check reciprocal links from new submissions manually, for old pixel sites I have impemented an automatic checking. If you decided to provide a reciprocal link you can remove the nofollow attribute from the url to your site by changing the settings in your account.

Don’t know if it’s true but it certainly will get some additional publicity for pixel advertising industry. Newspapers are writing about it again.

Repeated submissions of the same pixel site

Please, do not submit your pixel site again if it’s already in our directory. The repeated submissions will be deleted. I understand that as an owner of a pixel site you want to gain as much publicity for your site as possible. That’s why I am planning on creating a “Featured Pixel Sites” section on the home page of PixelMarathon. You will be able to put your pixel site there for a monthly fee.

If you find something you think should be posted here, please let me know by email to ec(at)pixelmarathon.com. You will be noted as a source of information.
